What can be better than you not having to cruise through the over-crowded roads to get to work, save that time and put it to innovation?
A studio apartment catering to the youth who work independently, where a compact space functions as the work studio during the day
and home at night.
The apartment is a combination of repetitive 1 & 2 bedroom units recessed in and out to create an interesting form. The units are planned
as duplex to separate the private space on the upper level from the semi private space on the lower level.
The building is self sustained structure with a passive design approach. The design includes tapping the wind and solar energy to generate
electricity for the users, recycling waste water generated within the building and rain water harvesting for domestic use reducing the
dependence on ground water resources to a great extent.
